From 1 April 2026, all dry bulk and general cargo vessels aged 12 years or older without a valid RightShip Inspection will have their Safety Score downgraded to 2 out of 5.
In addition, vessels meeting or exceeding the age criteria that have not completed an acceptable RightShip Inspection will require a valid inspection in order to pass a RightShip vetting nomination.
Vessel owners and managers are encouraged to schedule inspections early to avoid delays and ensure their vessels remain eligible for vetting nominations.
