Both the vessels are related to GEMINI MARINE LIMITED (a.k.a. GEMINI MARINE LTD-MAI), Trust Company Complex, Ajeltake Road, Majuro, Ajeltake Island 96960, Marshall Islands.
M/T Frunze technical manager (DOC Company) is said to be Magic Shipping Limited, Shanghai and M/T Izumo is also managed by technical managers based in Shanghai by name of Magician Capital Limited.
Interesting thing is that both the ship managers are operating from same building in Shanghai with office as 1007 and 1006, 28, Xinjinqiao Lu, Pudong Xinqu, Shanghai, People’s Republic of China
Magic shipping limited is said to be managing only Frinze and the Magician Capital limited is managing one more vessel beside Izumo which is also as crude oil tanker.
This designation of both the vessel and owners is related to Counter Terrorism related to Iran. Izumo is currently at OPL, Malaysia and Frunze is stopped and drifting in Bay of bengal showing destination as Fujairah. Izumo appears in loaded condition while Frunze is in ballast condition.
