The Coast Guard Office of Operating and Environmental Standards (CG-OES) has published Marine Safety Information Bulletin 06-26 Commercial Diving – USCG/OSHA Casualty Reporting Requirements. This MSIB summarizes the reporting requirements for marine casualties associated with commercial diving operations for both the USCG and OSHA. The Coast Guard encourages commercial maritime entities to review the MSIB and to contact CG-OES at HQS-DG-lst-CG-OES-2@uscg.mil for additional information.
