Panama Maritime Authority revised MMC -217 which relates to STS and its reporting requirement. New Paragraph 7.4 has been added to the circular.
Paragraph 7.4 states It is strictly prohibited for Panamanian-flagged vessels to provide, facilitate, and/or
participate, directly or indirectly, in any form of support to sanctioned vessels, in accordance with the provisions of Executive Decree No. 512 of October 18, 2024, including, without limitation, the operations described in paragraph 3.2.
Paragraph 3.2 is vessel operation which doesn’t fall under category of STS.
