St. Lawrence Seaway System has issued Notice no 14 of 2025. The circular refers to wind speed limitations in Welland Canal. This notice supercedes notice no 13.
Following the completion of an engineering assessment, the maximum wind speed for safe operation of Bridge 11 and Bridge 21 in the Welland Canal has been revised to 40 knots until further notice.
