AMSA released summary of marine incident for the month of June 2025. During June 2025, there were 82 reported marine incidents involving domestic commercial vessels. Of these, 13 were serious.
Listed below are some of the occurrences included in the latest marine incident report.
- Two crew members fell overboard when a vessel capsized during fishing operations.
- A tender vessel became swamped during rough seas, requiring the rescue of 4 crew on board.
- A vessel became disabled following a port engine control issue and required a tow to shore.
- Two jet ski operators fell overboard when the jet skis collided whilst underway.
