IMO released erratum to Marpol consolidated edition 2022 in Dec 2023. As per this erratum Annex V, Appendix VIII has been revised.
Appendix VIII is Form of International Energy Efficiency (IEE) Certificate. As per the erratum supplement to IEEC certificate Section 5 has been amended.
Under point 5.1, added the following text “The attained EEXI is: . . . . . . . . grams-CO2/tonne-mile”
Basis above addition the point 5.1 read as below
“5.1 The attained EEXI in accordance with regulation 23.1 is calculated taking into account the guidelines*
developed by the Organization. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . □
