Liberia maritime authority published published a document, by the authority of the Liberian Government, granted by The Liberia Republic of Liberia, Liberia Maritime Authority.
It is an official publication of the Liberian Registry.
The Commissioner and Deputy Commissioners of Maritime Affairs are authorized to issue licenses and documents to all merchant marine personnel. (See Liberian Maritime Law Section 17 and Section 325; Liberian Maritime Regulations 1.17 and 10.325.). This is done in accordance with the requirements of Regulation I/2 of the International Conventions on Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping for Seafarers 1978, as amended (hereinafter referred to as “STCW”). All documentation issued will be done following verification of the authenticity and validity of the required documentary evidence.
