Harbour Master of Port of Fujairah issued a notice to mariners 366 on 13th Oct 2025 advicing the changes in the recognised P & I Club for the entry to the port/waters. Earlier to this the list was revised by NTM 349 dated 26th Feb 2024.
All vessels calling at Fujairah port and offshore anchorage must hold all the insurance-related certificates issued by one of the International Group of P&I Group or P&I Clubs of one of the Non-International Group of P&I Clubs and Fixed Underwriters approved by the Port of Fujairah.
The list of approved Non-International Group of P&I Clubs and Fixed Underwriters is:
- British Marine
- Hydor AS
- The Korea Shipowner’s Mutual Protection and Indemnity Association
- MSIG Specialty Marine NV
- Maritime Mutual Insurance Association (NZ) Limited
- Thomas Miller Specialty Underwriting Agency Limited
In the revised list MS Amlin Insurance SE & EF Marine has been removed from the list of Non IG Club member and MSIG Speciality Marine NV has been included. So in the list now there is six Non IG club whereas earlier it was seven.
