At the recent expert meeting hosted by the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA), our Chief Partnership Officer, Martin Benderson, presented MACN’s work on maritime corruption data and the dashboards we’ve developed to support transparency and integrity in port operations.
The event, titled “Measuring the Effectiveness of Anti-Corruption Agencies: A Research Methodology”, brought together leading voices in the field to explore how data can drive accountability. We were invited to share our experience as a case study in successful data-driven collective action.
Our presentation focused on how sensitive data can be collected securely and transformed into actionable insights for stakeholders, while maintaining confidentiality and trust. It was a privilege to showcase the tools and approaches we’ve developed, and to engage with experts from across sectors who are working to strengthen anti-corruption agencies worldwide.
Grateful to Samuel De Jaegere and the IACA team for the opportunity to participate, and to everyone who contributed to the session.
