IMO issued supplement to BWM Convention and BWMS Code. The supplement was issued on 10th Sept 2025.
Supplement contains amendments to regulations A-1 and B-2 of the International Convention for the Control and Management of Ships’ Ballast Water and Sediments, 2004 were adopted on 22 March 2024 by the Marine Environment Protection Committee (MEPC), at its eighty-first session, by resolution MEPC.383(81) and enter into force on 1 October 2025.
