Panama Canal Authority issued a advisory to remind IMO recommendation for approach to Panama Canal through TSS from Pacific end.
The restriction is in place to avoid risk of collision and whale protection. AS per recommendation, the speed limit is max 10 Knots. This is seasonal restriction and is applicable form 01st Aug to 30 th Nov and north of 8 Deg N Latitude
