Container Vessel M/V Vantage, IMO: 9628192 was detained for having 720 kg of cocaine at Busan, South Korea on 10 May 2025.

The information was provided by U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration to Korean authorities and Korean Customs boarded the vessel and detained the vessel.

It is reported that the drug confsticated is worth KRW 360 Billion. Two of the crew of Filipino Nationality has been taken is custody on 12th May and vessel was allowed to sail to her destination.

Prior calling Busan vessel had called Yokohama in Japan and prior to that had called Ensenada, Monzalino and Lazaro Cardenas in Mexico.

Vessel is owned and operated by Costamare Shipping Company S.A. of Greece.
