1. The Maritime Safety Committee (MSC) at its 109th session approved the amendments to the International Aeronautical and Maritime Search and Rescue (IAMSAR) manual, volume I, II and III vide MSC.1/Circ.1686.
2. These amendments will be applicable with effect from 01st January 2026.
3. Ship owners/ operators and masters are advised to be guided by above and ensure that updated IAMSAR manual Volume III is placed onboard by 01st January 2026.
