Refer vessel Crown Garnet, IMO 9128049 was detained by the authorities at Port of Marin, Spain on ground of transporting 120 kgs of cocaine, on 21 Feb 2025. The vessel was detained on arrival at the port upon anchoring within port ;limit.
During the search the drugs was discovered as attached to its hull. Prior to calling Marine vessel has called Port Salvador and Natal in Brazil. Vessel sailed out from Natal on 13th Feb 2025. The vessel is registered with Bahamas and being owned & managed by German based company.
This is 3rd such detention in month of February related to drugs found onboard vessel. Vessel Kokko was detained in Nomea on 5th Feb, Guayaquil Express was detained on 15th feb 2025 at Posarjo and Crown Garnet is third such detention.
